Move to Wordpress as a platform
I think it is passed time that you update the platform and you do not seam to have time to do this. How about moving to Wordpress so you don't have to implement any new features as the community implements them for you.

.NET based voice conference room
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if a conference room based on .NET would be a good idea? I found it at this page: http://www.voip-sip-sdk.com/p_155-how-to-use-ozeki-c-voip-sdk-source-for-creating-voice-conference-room-voip.html
I feel like i would have drunk a sea of Recbull, i am soaring :D:D:D12 votes -
301 redirects so we have one URL
I would really like to be able to have ONE url for my site. At the moment my google juice is split between http://geekswithblogs.net/hinshelm and http://blog.hinshelwood.com
I would like to have only http://blog.hinshelwood.com and have all other URL’s 301 to this one. I am happy to support the GWB brand by having a shield on my blog, or to have “Provided by GeeksWithBlogs.net” at the bottom of the template.

I am definitely leaning your way because we have noticed a drop in Google placement with the custom URLs. We would need to figure out what the link back to GWB would be. More than a side bar badge because the branding is important to searchers who trust GWB content. Would you be apposed to a small 30px bar on the top of the blog with GWB on it and some other tools for readers?

Add a "source code" block to the blog editor
This would make it much easier to post actual source code without it looking like plain text or a big mess. Many forums have this tool available (e.g. put [source][/source] around the source code) and it would be awesome if GWB had a similar tool.

New iconizer.net has been launched
After a year after iconizer.net was launched, the developers decided to give something new to their users. A completely new Iconizer.net project has been finally launched. Not only the search of icons has been completely modified, but also the new generator mechanism which helps you forget about searching for a perfect icon...

Gist Support
I wish I could put gists from github.com in my blogposts. I need the ability to use script tags to do so though.

What exactly would you want integrated? Just a list of your recent Gists on the sidebar as a Widget or someone linking them into posts?

Add the ability to put users in a "group"
It would be great if users could create groups and "invite" other people to be in their group, making it easy for users to see blogs/articles written by other people in their group. The idea behind this is our company wants a developers blog, but don't want to host it ourselves. If we could create a "group" that only our staff belong to, then developers would be posting blogs/articles on your site for all to see, but with the main intention that it is useful for other developers at our company.....basically allowing for an easy way for people to see… more

Callback organiser application
Hi everyone. I was wondering if i could build up a callback program that would work like this:
1. The client goes to the webpage and fill in a form
2. The form requires the client's language and the products name they bought.
3. The system controll the forms and forward them to the support department depending on language and product.
4. The application calls the client also the supporter and connect them in one phone-line.
No more hours phone-holding waiting for the "end of the line" :D3 votes -

Kill scraper sites
http://geekswithblogs.net/akshaylamba/ - is a scraper blog, in which posts are direct copies from other sites, without any regards to copyright.
http://geekswithblogs.net/akshaylamba/archive/2011/05/25/the-geeks-bt--doteps.aspx is a direct copy of http://www.prepressure.com/library/file-formats/eps - The images in your member's article are even direct links to the originals on my site.
http://geekswithblogs.net/akshaylamba/archive/2011/05/30/pdf-vs-other-formats.aspx is a direct copy of http://www.prepressure.com/pdf/basics/versus_other_formats
There are more pages copied directly from my site and I am not the only victim. Other sites got plundered as well. This member is not providing your community any service by going around and stealing content. Terminate that account!

Expanding Included Topics
I'm a network engineer by trade, and I'm a sometimes blogger on this forum. I'd like to see the hashing include Cisco, and Juniper, and Maybe just electronics. I like this sites setup and feel like with only programmers posting that I'm out of place.

Review PickyDomains.com
Hi!
If you ever do a crowdsourcing feature, I’d like to pitch PickyDomains.com to you. We actually got some newsprint coverage, like SF Chronicle (http://allbusiness.sfgate.com/business-planning/starting-a-business/4974281-1.html ), but our blog coverage has been lacking. Here is what we do – when a person can’t come up with his or her own domain name, they place order with PickyDomains.com. Our contributors then start pitching ideas. If a person decides to register domain, he pays us $50, 40-60% of which goes to a contributor who made the winning suggestions. Otherwise client gets a full refund. So this is a risk-free crowdsourcing naming… more3 votes -

Home Page
Might want to consider either centering the content on the page or making it so it expands to 100% the width of the browser. This will just make the site look better when users have their screen resolution set high and/or they have a widescreen monitor.

The current themes are not very desirable and we know we need a new set of them, update a few, delete others. We would take any suggestions for particular WP themes your like or other suggestions.
